More mystery surrounds the possibility of the Motor City Machine Guns debuting in WWE thanks to a deleted post.

On September 12, 2024, it was reported that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were heading to WWE and could debut on October 1.
October 1, 2024, marks the CW network premiere of WWE NXT, a show that also features TNA Wrestling’s Zachary Wentz facing Wes Lee in a street fight, Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia for the NXT Women’s Championship and Ethan Page defending the NXT Championship against Trick Williams.

As spotted by users on Twitter and Reddit, Alex Shelley shared a post to his Instagram Story that was accompanied by the Def Rebel track WWE: Shredder (NXT).
The post, which was made in the past 24 hours, has since been deleted, though it does remain on the account that originally posted it, as can be seen below.

It has also been reported that talks between Motor City Machine Guns and AEW fell through earlier this year ahead of their reported move to WWE.
At the time of writing, there is no official confirmation of the status of Sabin and Shelley in relation to WWE.
JJA Sport Studio will keep its readers up to date on any developments as they emerge.
