WWE SmackDown star Carmelo Hayes has compared WWE CCO Triple H and NXT head Shawn Michaels’ creative approach.
Former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes is one of few WWE stars to have worked under just Triple H and Shawn Michaels rather than Vince McMahon.
Hayes was a huge part of Shawn Michaels’ early days as the creative lead of WWE NXT during the 2.0 era.
Now, Melo works with Triple H as part of the SmackDown brand since being called up during the 2024 WWE Draft.
Speaking on The Masked Man Show, Carmelo Hayes compared the creative approach of Triple H and Shawn Michaels. He said:
“It’s a positive, it’s not a negative at all. I think Shawn is very, he reacts with passion and emotion.”
With Hunter, he’s very calm and cool all the time, so it’s never like you ever see him get out of pocket or nothing. He’s very calm and cool all the time.”
“There’s nothing against being passionate and emotional at all, but, you’ve got to be a little bit sharper with Shawn sometimes because he has a vision and he wants the vision to come true.”
“If it doesn’t come true, he’s passionate. Hunter is passionate as well, don’t get me wrong, but he’s just kinda cool. He’s not gonna yell at you or anything.”
Carmelo Hayes is scheduled to face Andrade in their sixth match in their ongoing series on the September 27 edition of WWE SmackDown.
