There is reportedly a big push within WWE to host an upcoming premium live event in a new international territory.
WWE has expanded it’s catalogue of international premium live events this year, hosting Elimination Chamber in Perth, Backlash in Lyon, Clash At The Castle in Glasgow and Bash In Berlin in Berlin.
It was also reported recently that the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event in 2025 is expected to be headed to the United Kingdom, and that may not be the only PLE taking place international next year.
Speaking on WrestleVotes Radio, WrestleVotes noted that there is a big push internally for the Japanese market, given the success of the recent tour in the country.
They said:
“I think Japan definitely gets something in the future. I know there’s a big push internally for the Japanese market. There’s a lot of Japanese talent on the roster. And I think the last tour they just had over there in Japan was very successful as well.”
WWE previously held it’s Beast In The East WWE Network special in Japan back in 2015.
