An update was provided on Drew McIntyre’s storyline suspension during tonight’s July 15 episode of WWE Raw in Dayton, Ohio.

Despite his suspension after Money in the Bank, McIntyre was invited to Raw by Adam Pearce to attempt to come to an agreement and make a match against CM Punk official.
Pearce laid down a stipulation – he would book the match for SummerSlam if Drew McIntyre would apologize to the two referees he struck during his outburst after Money in the Bank.

All McIntyre had to do was apologize, but he refused to do so.
McIntyre instead demanded an apology from Adam Pearce for allowing Punk to do what he’s done to McIntyre, which of course did not go down well with Pearce.

Upon hearing that demand, Pearce advised McIntyre that his suspension has now not been lifted.
As McIntyre was becoming increasingly aggressive towards Pearce, Seth Rollins came out to make the save.
