A WWE star made their in-ring return on tonight’s July 15 episode of WWE Raw after nearly a whole year out of action.
The last time Sonya Deville was in the ring was July 28, 2023 when she was injured during a match on SmackDown.
Tonight on WWE Raw, Deville made her in-ring return in a match against Zelina Vega.
The match seemed to be spurred by an earlier contemptuous conversation that saw Vega rebuff any idea of working with Deville or the duo she is currently affiliated with, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler.
In the end, Deville would pick up the win, although had some hearty assistance from ringside.
With the referee distracted, Baszler put Vega in a hold targeting her arm before disappearing so that Sonya Deville could capture the victory.
Deville made her on-screen return recently when she aligned with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, and they’ve already kicked off a feud with another trio.
Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance ran out to fend off the trio from further attacking Vega after the match.
It appeared that Vega was immediately headed to medical to be examined as WWE released post-match footage from backstage.
You can see in the video below, Vega is being escorted by officials after the match to be checked out with her arm in a grisly looking position.
