Two injured WWE stars are set to make their returns on the August 5 episode of Monday Night Raw, following several weeks off TV.
Following an eventful WWE SummerSlam event, WWE Raw comes around to Baltimore, MD.
The fans inside the CFG Bank Arena will be treated to appearances from the likes of CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and new World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, as well as the in-ring returns of both Ludwig Kaiser and Kofi Kingston.
Kaiser has been off TV since June 24 after suffering broken ribs during his match with Bron Breakker and will face off with familiar foe Sheamus on the August 5 edition of Raw.
Unlike Kaiser, Kingston’s absence has been due to storyline, with The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross injuring the former WWE Champion’s shoulder on the same June 24 edition of Raw.
Kingston would make his in-ring return on WWE’s tour of Japan between July 25-27, however, the company would announce that The New Day member had aggravated the injury whilst competing.
Kingston and his New Day partner Xavier Woods will face off with AOP on Raw, continuing their ongoing rivalry.
Also announced for Raw is a rare cross-brand tag team match as The Awesome Truth face off with A-Town Down Under – following on from their interaction at SummerSlam along with singer Jelly Roll.
