A new WWE faction has been confirmed on tonight’s August 5 Raw after the split of Judgment Day was clear at SummerSlam 2024.

Making his first appearance in front of fans after having lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER at SummerSlam – thanks to Finn Balor – Damian Priest spoke in the ring tonight.
Priest noted that he may have lost a ‘family member’ in Finn Balor after the betrayal at SummerSlam, but he felt that his warm crowd reception and made it clear he had gained a ‘new family’, meaning the fans.
When he called out Finn Balor to fight, Balor would instead appear on the titantron.

Finn Balor retorted that he didn’t betray Priest, rather Priest betrayed the Judgment Day by acting like the leader of the group, despite them all previously agreeing there would be no leader and they were all equals.
Balor said that he wouldn’t fight Priest, but that JD McDonagh would.
It was then revealed by Finn Balor that the ‘new Judgment Day’ in WWE officially consists of Balor, Carlito, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, who all came into the video alongside him.

Damian Priest would end the segment by charging backstage, seemingly in hunt of the new group.
Rhea Ripley hasn’t made an appearance tonight as of yet after she was betrayed by Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam.
