At tonight’s WWE Raw taping, there were two NXT stars on hand for dark matches against main roster stars filmed for WWE Main Event.
In Fort Lauderdale, Florida tonight at the WWE Raw taping, there were two matches filmed for Main Event.
In one, Ilja Dragunov took on NXT’s Dante Chen after the latter previously made an appearance on Main Event last Monday against Oba Femi.
Also featured in a dark match tonight, another NXT star – Lola Vice.
She took on Lyra Valkyria in the match filmed for the streaming show that airs on Hulu on Thursdays.
Ilja Dragunov has been out of in-ring competition since last month when he lost an Intercontinental Championship number one contenders match against Bron Breakker.
Breakker would go on to beat Sami Zayn and win the Intercontinental Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, Sheamus and Pete Dunne had a match as the pair of former Brawling Brutes put on a ‘banger’.
Sheamus picked up the win, despite having one injured arm.
