On tonight’s August 19 episode of WWE Raw, the date and opponent for the first WWE match for Uncle Howdy was revealed.

After an earlier interaction with Chad Gable on tonight’s Raw, the first singles match for Uncle Howdy was confirmed.
Earlier on during tonight’s show, a match between Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri was interrupted by the arrival of the Wyatt Sicks.
While it was first Nikki Cross who stood in opposition to Ivy Nile, soon the rest of the Wyatt Sicks would appear as did the rest of American Made (Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers).

Their interaction would end in the arrival of Uncle Howdy who delivered a Sister Abigail finisher to Gable.
Later in the show, it was confirmed that next week on WWE Raw will be a singles match between Uncle Howdy and Chad Gable.
This is the first time ‘Uncle Howdy’ will have had a match in WWE. The last time the man who portrays Howdy, Bo Dallas, had a match was all the way back in November 2019.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Michael Cole said goodbye to his current broadcast partner, Pat McAfee, who is taking a break from WWE to work during football season for the next couple of months.
Michael Cole confirmed that Pat McAfee will be back in January 2025 as WWE Raw moves to airing live on Netflix.
