The September 9 episode of WWE Raw saw Bret Hart appear in the ring for his hometown fans in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Footage from his appearance in front of the enthusiastic crowd can be seen below this news story with his arrival later bringing out GUNTHER.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion would share his thoughts on Hart before mentioning Bill Goldberg’s name.
With Sami Zayn drawn into proceedings, we’d witness a brawl between both men with the Canadian star going on to share his thoughts about being in the presence of The Hitman.
Post-appearance footage was posted by Triple H on Twitter showing his reaction to Hart on WWE Raw.
In the footage, which can be seen below this news story, Triple H greets Bret Hart as he comes backstage, saying:
“That was great. Feel good? Thank you very much for being here.”
The video on the tweet was accompanied by the Triple H’s comment of:

The pair exchange a few words, with Triple H once again thanking Hart for being in Calgary for WWE Raw.
Dave Meltzer shared some insight into the relationship between the WWE CCO and the Hall of Famer on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying:
“Triple H was very nice to Bret (Hart) from what I heard. Historically they don’t like each other, both of them. But it’s business and Triple H is running things and they don’t want to insult Bret. They have to show respect to Bret so everybody was nice to everybody.”
Hart wasn’t the only family member to return on last night’s WWE Raw with Natalya also appearing after a three-month absence.
It was recently reported that Natalya had signed a new deal with WWE ahead of her previous contract expiring.
