The Miz didn’t get his match with Bronson Reed on the September 23 episode of WWE Raw and has since teased a change of character in response.
With The Miz getting ready for his match backstage, Karrion Kross continued his recent mind games with the A-Lister saying that it’s “messed up” that he doesn’t get respect backstage.
Kross would play on The Miz as a legitimate opponent for Reed, pointing out that “monsters come in all different shapes and sizes.”
Unfortunately, Reed vs The Miz wouldn’t happen with Braun Strowman attacking the big man instead.
As for The Miz, he was “nowhere to be found” according to Joe Tessitore on commentary.
In post-match comments, which can be seen below this news story, The Miz stated:
“The crowd was on their feet before my match. Didn’t get the opportunity to take on Bronson Reed.
“The crowd got what they wanted, right? I don’t know what to do. I have done everything there is to do in WWE. I don’t know what to do.”
Kross has previously attempted to drive a wedge between New Day focusing his attention on Xavier Woods.
Last night’s WWE saw Kofi Kingston give control of the New Day over to Woods after recent miscommunications to get them back on the right path.
