A WWE star could potentially be forced to leave the SmackDown brand forever per the stipulation of a match taking place next week.
During tonight’s show, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax made an announcement regarding her challenger at the upcoming Bad Blood event.
Jax was interrupted by both Bayley and Naomi, with a match next week set to determine which of them will challenge Jax at Bad Blood.
However, there’s an additional stipulation as well.
Instead of there simply being a #1 contender match between Bayley and Naomi, they will actually team up in a tag match against Jax and Tiffany Stratton.
If Bayley and Naomi win, then whichever one of them scores the fall will challenge Jax at Bad Blood.
However, if Jax and Stratton win, then whichever of Bayley and Naomi takes the fall will have to “leave SmackDown forever”.
So, in theory, either Bayley or Naomi could end up never appearing on WWE SmackDown again.
That is of course very unlikely, and it looks like Jax will be defending against one of them – or potentially even both in a three-way – at Bad Blood on October 5.
Jax won the WWE Women’s Championship from Bayley at SummerSlam.
