A major match has just been officially confirmed for WWE SummerSlam 2024 with a top championship on the line.

The end of last week’s SmackDown ended with the Bloodline attacking Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, after Solo Sikoa had stated his intentions to get the Undisputed WWE Championship back into the Bloodline earlier in the night.
WWE has now officially confirmed that Sikoa will indeed challenge Cody Rhodes for the title at WWE SummerSlam.

WWE writes:
Solo Sikoa is out to return the Undisputed WWE Championship to The Bloodline when “The New Tribal Chief” challenges Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.
When Roman Reigns took a leave after losing the Undisputed WWE Title to The American Nightmare at WrestleMania, Sikoa took the mantle of Tribal Chief and made significant changes to the deadly faction.
After ruthlessly brutalizing his brother Jimmy Uso and adding the destructive Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa – sons of the legendary Haku – Sikoa then secured a new enforcer in the form of the ultra-destructive Jacob Fatu.

Solo has made it clear that he is coming for the title, and when he pinned Rhodes in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at WWE Money in the Bank, that showdown seemed inevitable.
Rhodes agreed and proposed the matchup himself in a face-to-face with Solo.
Is the Undisputed WWE Championship destined to return to The Bloodline? Don’t miss SummerSlam, streaming live Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 ET/4 PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
