A WWE star says they would “die happy” if they were to make an appearance at SummerSlam 2024 on August 3.

As of now there are seven matches officially booked for the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’, six of which are championship bouts.
As of yet, however, none of WWE’s three tag team titles are currently up for grabs, something that one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano hopes will change.
Speaking with Rick Ucchino from Cageside Seats, Gargano conveyed just how much he wants a SummerSlam moment in front of his home crowd at the Cleveland Browns Stadium – the same NFL team he’s followed his whole life.

Gargano explained that “any” kind of role on the show would suffice, saying:
“It’s one of those things where, look, I’m just happy doing anything. I would do anything in that stadium, I don’t care what it is. I just wanna do something in that stadium.
“It’s a lifelong dream of mine. Whether it’s defending the tag team titles or just popping out and waving to the crowd, I don’t care. I wanna do something wrestling related in that stadium. And I will die happy.”

As of now Gargano is not booked on WWE SummerSlam 2024, however, following this week’s SmackDown he and #DIY partner Tommaso Ciampa will have new number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
