There was an announcement on tonight’s WWE Raw revealing the host for the upcoming WWE SummerSlam 2024 premium live event.
While there had already been a special musical guest announced in the form of Jelly Roll, now there has been a full host announced as well.
In a backstage segment on tonight’s July 29 WWE Raw, it was confirmed that The Miz would be host of SummerSlam 2024 in his hometown of Cleveland.
Popping in on the backstage interview segment with Cathy Kelley, R-Truth also offered his assistance to The Miz.
Despite Miz’s protests that he didn’t need any help, it seems unlikely that some R-Truth shenanigans won’t ensue on Saturday at SummerSlam.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, Liv Morgan made her heartbreak over Dominik Mysterio known as she seemingly trashed the Judgment Day Clubhouse.
Later in the show, she was shown in front of garbage can full of flames, burning photos of herself and Dominik as well as his merch as she tearfully vowed to retain her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam.
