WWE Raw star Ilja Dragunov has broken his silence following his loss in the King of the Ring tournament.
Dragunov was one of several NXT stars to be called up to the main roster as part of the WWE Draft.
With Dragunov moved to the Raw brand, many fans speculated that we could soon see the former NXT Champion clash with his former rival GUNTHER on the main roster.
This appeared to be possible with both stars entering the King of the Ring tournament, with some speculating that GUNTHER vs Dragunov’s fourth match in WWE could’ve been one of the tournament’s semi-final matches.
This was not to be, however, with Ilja Dragunov losing to Jey Uso on Monday’s (May 13) edition of Raw in his quarter final match.
Dragunov has now taken to Twitter to note that his setbacks have made him who he is today, writing:
Nobody knows how often I’ve lost in life.

And how only that made me.
Dragunov had previously defeated Ricochet in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament on the May 5 show.
Another star recently called up from NXT has now been spotted filming ahead of their main roster debut, which you can read more about right here.
