The ‘Devil’ Adam Cole has now revealed the name of his faction and it has a familiar ring to it with shades of WWE.

With Adam Cole’s theme song kicking off tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (January 3), after some pyrotechnics, it switched to a new theme entirely.
With a guitar based theme starting, the tron graphics were shown to say ‘Undisputed’ with a crown under it, which would later be revealed to be the group’s new name.
Adam Cole is leading a faction called ‘Undisputed Kingdom’ in AEW, although with a later AEW addition.
Of course, fans might remember that Adam Cole and company revived their Ring of Honor dramas in part during WWE NXT under the group name ‘ Undisputed Era’ which featured Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish.

The group has origins overall from Ring of Honor, including the Kingdom, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett.
Coming out to the ring on crutches along with Wardlow, the ROH Tag Team Champions the Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and Roderick Strong, Adam Cole’s title card on screen read ‘The Devil’.
While he got into the ring and cut a promo seated, Adam Cole shared his rationale for having turned against MJF.

Noting that MJF was ‘a narcissist’ and that MJF needed Adam Cole so would have cast him aside just as quickly when he no longer needed him, he just beat Max to the punch.
Intriguingly in Cole’s promo, he laid out the agenda for the group that included Wardlow winning the AEW World Championship on behalf of the Undisputed Kingdom and then he will give it to Cole when the leader is cleared to compete.
Wardlow looked unconvincing during a close-up shot of himself nodding along with the stated plan, adding a layer of intrigue from the outset.
Additionally Adam Cole noted that fans would ‘NEVER see MJF again,’ and referred to him as ‘the guy who doesn’t even work here anymore’ which is in line with the presumed storyline that MJF is no longer contracted with AEW.
