An update on an AEW star and his potentially ‘career ending injury’ was revealed on tonight’s AEW Dynamite by commentary during a match.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite started with a grudge match between Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta after the latter has continued to turn on his ‘Best Friends’.
After a violent Parking Lot Street Fight in Jacksonville against Beretta reportedly caused Chuck Taylor to suffer a ‘career ending injury’, more details were revealed tonight on commentary.

According to Excalibur, he spoke to AEW ringside physician Dr. Sampson who explained more about the nature of Taylor’s injury.
Not only did he suffer a fractured ankle, the nature of the fracture was so severe that it will require surgery. Due to the nature of the fracture and the presence of necrosis of the bone underneath cartridge, the injury is likely ‘career ending’ reported Excalibur.

In a post-match beatdown angle after Cassidy beat Beretta, Beretta was relentless in his attack on Cassidy, but was stopped in the end by Don Callis who made the save, but only after the damage had already been done.
Dan Callis was on commentary for the match as he seemingly continues to recruit Orange Cassidy to join his Family faction, although with Callis, he could always be up to no good.
