To save from a slow news holiday, AEW’s Chris Jericho had a brief Christmas Day kerfuffle with WWE star CM Punk’s lawyer Stephen P. New.

After news broke regarding the length of the Non-Disclosure Agreements signed by Ace Steel and CM Punk surrounding the events after AEW All Out, there were also reports that the ‘only’ person who saw all of the events but wasn’t subject to an NDA was Ace Steel’s wife, Lucy.
Replying to a story about the report, Chris Jericho wrote initially:

To which CM Punk and Ace Steel’s lawyer, Stephen P. New responded:

To which Chris Jericho replied:
“Hey @StephenPNew – I don’t adhere to an employee handbook and have NEVER had one in 4 years of working for @aew.
“I’ve also never signed an NDA in my life ….ever. So stop trying to be a bully and making egotistical fantasy brags for your clients, and start doing some research before you make blanket statements about your buddies. Because I saw EVERYTHING that night…including how Lucy (and her husband and best buddy) acted and what really went down…and since I was in the room and watching her and everybody else the whole time..
“I know exactly what really happened. And considering you weren’t there and I was …maybe you should shut your mark ass up. Because what really went down was disgusting. ….”

To which then the lawyer responded:

The back and forth is intriguing since details of the locker room events of AEW All Out 2022 between CM Punk, Ace Steel and the Elite have remained largely unconfirmed.
For his part, CM Punk was not involved in the social media exchange today, rather did post a story of another witness to the events of All Out to his Instagram story.

It seems that Punk’s dog Larry had a happy Holiday, being seen in a story set to the ‘Gremlins’ film theme.
The recently returned WWE Raw star is set for an appearance at WWE’s Holiday Live event at Madison Square Garden where he is set to take on ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio.
