AEW World Champion and ROH World Tag Team Champion MJF hopes to work full-time in Hollywood and pro wrestling.

2023 has been the year of Maxwell Jacob Friedman in All Elite Wrestling. The 27 year old has spent the past 12 months as AEW World Champion and has had the top storylines revolve around his character.
MJF had a brief mainstream crossover moment as he also starred and was one of the executive producers for A24’s The Iron Claw film, based on the Von Erich family.

Speaking with ComicBook.com, MJF discussed the future that he wants to have in Hollywood after his debut. Believing that he could regularly act in television and films five years from now, Friedman said:
“I genuinely think in five years from now, I’m going to be a guy that people see regularly on their TV screen outside of the professional wrestling landscape,”
“Trust me, I love wrestling too much to not still be involved in it. I will most likely still be full-time, but I want to be acting full-time as well by then.”
“I would also like to put out an album by then. I would like to be a well distinguished actor that is recognized as being a great actor that transitioned from wrestling like these greats that did it before me. Like Dwayne [The Rock], like Batista. Like Cena.”

Before the pay-per-view, the two men will team to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships against The Devil’s mystery men on this Wednesday’s December 27 edition of AEW Dynamite.
