AEW has shared an update on its cross-promotional partnership with Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
Following reports about talks between the two sides, AEW and CMLL confirmed their partnership in October 2023, following CMLL’s Mistico appearing on Rampage.
Per a new announcement, several CMLL stars are now set to ‘come to AEW’.
AEW has confirmed that Mistico, Máscara Dorada 2.0, Hechicero and Volador Jr will soon wrestle for the company as part of this inter-promotional partnership.
More information about these stars coming to AEW will be shared on Saturday’s (January 27) edition of Collision.
CMLL has also commented on this announcement, sharing the following to Twitter:

Mistico wrestled for AEW on the October 20 edition of Rampage, defeating Rocky Romero in a 2/3 falls bout.
