Will Ospreay has now broken his silence following his final independent match ahead of him joining AEW as a full-time wrestler.
With Ospreay making his final NJPW appearance earlier this month, the popular star returned to the UK for one last singles match ahead of him beginning a new chapter with AEW.
The Aerial Assassin wrestled in the main event of Sunday’s (February 18) RevPro High Stakes 2024 show, losing to Michael Oku after 47 minutes of action.
Ospreay has now taken to Twitter to comment on the end of an era, writing:
I couldn’t have asked for a better exit from the indies.
