A current AEW star has said that they have been asked about potentially having one more match in their wrestling career.

Maria Kanellis currently appears on Ring of Honor television as the manager for Griff Garrison and Cole Karter’s tag team on the show, and has filled many different roles in her career in wrestling.
Maria has not competed in a match since the July 1, 2019 episode of Raw, where her and Mike Kanellis faced Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a Mixed Tag Team match.

Maria didn’t end up getting physical in the bout, taking to the microphone to announce her pregnancy, with her last physical in-ring appearance coming at WrestleMania 35 during the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal.
Speaking during a Monopoly Events Q&A, Maria was asked about potential opponents if she were to have one more match.

She said:
“It’s tough because there have been a few women in AEW that have asked. Deonna [Deonna Purrazzo] would be a good choice. Queen Aminata has said, ‘Come on, we’re both mothers, let’s do this.’ Queen is such an inspiration and that would be awesome. Toni [Toni Storm], for sure. There are too many. There is a lot.
“It’s tough because my daughter wants to see me wrestle one more time. At some point, maybe I’ll do it, but I can’t guarantee it’ll be good.”
