A current AEW Champion is set to defend their title in another company in advance of their title defense at Double or Nothing.
Announced on tonight’s episode of Collision, an upcoming title defense for Willow Nightingale before she faces Mercedes Mone at AEW Double or Nothing.
Nightingale will put her TBS Championship on the line against Tam Nakano at the Stardom Flashing Champions event on Saturday, May 18.
Announced by AEW as well as Stardom, the match was shared from both companies on social media.
Willow Nightingale (if successful at retaining against Tam Nakano) will go on face Mercedes Mone in Las Vegas at AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view on May 26.
Also announced for the upcoming AEW Dynamite on May 15, a contract signing segment between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone for that match.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Collision, the show began with the return of Bryan Danielson. You can click here to read more about that.
