AEW has shared an intriguing vignette for a former champion who hasn’t wrestled in over seven months.
During this week’s edition of Rampage, a video package aired hyping up the return of Scorpio Sky.
In the video, which you can watch below, Sky confirmed that he has been out of action due to an injury. The former TNT Champion noted that he’s “better than ever”.
After opening up about his struggles, he stated that he has faith because “the sky’s the limit”.
Sky hasn’t wrestled since defeating Darius Martin at the October 7, 2023 ROH TV taping. This match aired on the October 12, 2023 episode.
His most recent AEW match saw him lose to Andrade El Idolo on the September 16, 2023 Collision episode.
An AEW original, Scorpio Sky has been with the promotion since January 2019, shortly after the original announcement of the company.
He was an inaugural AEW Tag Team Champion alongside Frankie Kazarian, and held the TNT Championship on two occasions in 2022.
