A dance created by AEW’s Mercedes Mone has gone global thanks, in part, to Will Ospreay and his snake-like hips.
Mone’s CEO dance clearly made an impression on Ospreay as he did the dance during the AEW Double or Nothing media scrum.
The footage, which can be seen below, also features Tony Khan chanting “C-E-O” before Ospreay notes it’s “such a sick dance.”
That wouldn’t be the only moment where Ospreay would shake his thang, only this time he’d do it with the CEO herself.
Egged on by those behind the camera telling him “more hips, Will” the newly crowned AEW International Champion would join forces with the new TBS Champion for the CEO Dance, as can also be seen below this news story.
All this brings us to the latest wrestler to get in on the dancing thing and it’s Shota Umino in NJPW.
New Japan shared footage from the Best of the Super Juniors 31 showing Shota Umino doing the CEO dance.
Umino himself would reply with a message to Ospreay on Twitter, writing:
Hey @WillOspreay

I tried it right away.
Are you mesmerized by the sexy dance?$ https://t.co/tjYC3xVIC5
The ‘sexy dance’ can be seen below this news story along with footage of Umino impressing Ospreay with his moves.
Mone made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023 and would go on to win the IWGP Women’s Championship.
Will Ospreay did the Mercedes Moné CEO dance immediately after she left the media scrum.
