Last seen at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV on June 30, an update has emerged on Jon Moxley’s current status.

At the crossover show, Moxley lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to Tetsuya Naito and hasn’t been on screen since.
Dave Meltzer has now provided an update on Moxley in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, revealing that he had been “given time off” by AEW.

In addition to not being booked in matches, he hasn’t been backstage at television since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
No further details were provided as to when we can expect to see Jon Moxley back on our screens.

Moxley is a three-time AEW World Champion and has held the AEW International Championship as well.
During his WWE run as Dean Ambrose, he was a Grand Slam Champion having held all the major men’s titles.
JJA Sport Studio will provide further updates on Moxley’s return as they emerge.
