New champions have been crowned in the main event of tonight’s July 27, 2024 AEW Battle of the Belts show live on TNT.

In recent weeks, both the AEW World Trios Championship and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship were vacated by the Bang Bang Gang team of Jay White and Austin & Colten Gunn due to an injury to White.
Last week, Christian Cage, Killswitch and Nick Wayne were crowned the new AEW World Trios Champions on Collision, and a week later, the new ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions have now been crowned as well.

The new champions are Dustin Rhodes and Ross & Marshall Von Erich, who won tonight’s Battle of the Belts main event.
They scored the win over the Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett to become champions.

A night prior at ROH Death Before Dishonor, Rhodes and the Von Erichs defeated Dark Order’s Evil Uno, John Silver and Alex Reynolds to earn their way into tonight’s title match.
The likes of FTR, Paul Wight (Big Show), Kyle O’Reilly and more came out to the ring to congratulate Rhodes and the Von Erichs on their win.
