A top AEW star has revealed that they will likely undergo neck surgery before the end of 2024.

Weeks before Bryan Danielson steps into the ring with Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship vs. Career match at All In London main event on August 25, we have received a new update on The American Dragon’s health heading into the bout.
Speaking in a sit-down interview with Jim Ross on the August 10 edition of AEW Collision, Danielson discussed the health issues he’s had both throughout his 25-year in-ring career heading into what could be his final match.
When discussing his issues with both concussions and his neck, Danielson revealed that he would likely need to undergo neck surgery before the year comes to an end.

Danielson said:
“I mean, the odds are I’m gonna have to get neck surgery before the end of this year. That’s the reality of it. That’s something that I’ve accepted is coming down the pike relatively soon.”
