The next challenger for Mercedes Mone’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship has been announced ahead of AEW All In.
Mercedes Mone currently reigns as a double champion, with her holding both the AEW TBS Championship and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
Mercedes won the TBS Championship from Willow Nightingale at AEW Double or Nothing in May, and defeated Stephanie Vaquer in a title vs title match at Forbidden Door to win the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.
With Mercedes set to defend her TBS Championship against Britt Baker at AEW All In, her next defence of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship has been announced.
Following today’s STARDOM show, Momo Watanabe challenged Mercedes Mone to a match for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship at the upcoming NJPW Capital Collision show on August 30.
