A WWE Hall of Famer has given his ‘wholehearted support’ to AEW American Champion MJF as his ‘American Hero’.
MJF began his reign as AEW International Champion back on Dynamite 250, when he defeated Will Ospreay in 59:58 to win the championship.
Since then, MJF has christened the title the ‘AEW American Championship’, with him branding himself as the ‘American Hero’ ahead of his defence against Will Ospreay at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium next weekend.
Taking to Twitter today, MJF made sure to thank his forefather, WWE Hall of Famer JBL, and thanked him for the advice he has given MJF.
He said:
To be a true American Hero you have to thank your forefathers.
