A match on tonight’s July 20 episode of AEW Collision was called off as one of the participants suffered an injury.

After Darby Allin picked up a win over Beast Mortos (Black Taurus) in the opener, the second match of the night saw Hikaru Shida take on Skye Blue.
However, just moments into Shida vs Blue, the match came to a premature end.
After a Shida dive from the ring onto Skye Blue on the outside, the referee checked on Blue and called over the ringside doctors.

As the doctors were checking on Blue, a few replays were shown as Shida was just waiting to see what the verdict was.
Eventually, the decision was made to call off the match.
Shida walked backstage, but was then actually brought back out to have her hand raised by the referee as she was declared the winner “due to referee stoppage”.

AEW CEO Tony Khan tweeted:

There is a second women’s match set for tonight’s AEW Collision in the form of Thunder Rosa vs Deonna Purrazzo in a lumberjack match.
