On tonight’s AEW Collision, the debut of new AEW star Hologram, a character that was reportedly created by Tony Khan.
Taking on Gringo Loco in the debut, Hologram, reportedly portrayed by former AAA star Aramis, picked up the win.
Bodyslam.net first reported that Aramis would be portraying this new gimmick, with PWInsider adding that the character was said to be “personally devised” by Tony Khan.
His finishing move was called the ‘Portal Bomb’ as stated by Tony Schiavone on commentary.
With unique entrance and exit lighting effects, Hologram had an intriguing presentation for his first time in front of the AEW audience, as you can see below.
Elsewhere on tonight’s Collision, there was a new set and theme for the show as AEW takes up home in Arlington’s Esports Stadium for several upcoming summer dates.
