A WWE star has suffered a torn ACL injury after a recent injury scare, keeping them out of action for many months.
This past Friday, NXT star Cora Jade appeared to suffer an injury at an NXT live event during a main event against Lyra Valkyria.
Details on Jade’s injury had not been known, but we now know the extent of Cora’s injuries.
Taking to Twitter, Dave Meltzer confirmed that the injury Cora suffered was an ACL tear, which is likely set to keep her out for around 8-9 months.
He tweeted:
The Cora Jade knee injury from the weekend house show we talked about on the show last night is an ACL tear.

Numerous WWE women’s stars are currently out of action with ACL tears, most notably Dakota Kai and Sonya Deville from the main roster, as well as Sol Ruca in NXT.
NXT stars Amari Miller and Nikkita Lyons both recently made their returns to the show after suffering torn ACLs last year.
Cora had only returned to NXT last month at NXT Deadline, attacking Lyra Valkyria on the show.
We wish Cora a full and complete recovery from her injury.
