Attempts are reportedly being made to remove Vince McMahon from the WWE 2K24 video game set to release in early March.

On January 25, a lawsuit hit McMahon with allegations of sexual trafficking, abuse and more – you can read the full lawsuit below.
Since then, McMahon has resigned from WWE parent company TKO, and WWE has tried to distance itself from McMahon including removing his profile from being publicly viewable on the WWE.com roster page.

It sounds like other WWE-related projects are being affected as well. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said:
“They’re trying to figure out a way to get him out of the video game, which may not be possible.
“And probably trying to figure out a way to erase him from history, which is completely impossible.”

Earlier this week, Brock Lesnar was removed from the WWE 2K Supercard mobile game.
Throughout the lawsuit, there were also several unnamed parties, including one who was referred to as “WWE Superstar” who was involved in the alleged situation.
WWE Superstar was described as someone who was a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and was negotiating with WWE at the time that alleged events occurred.

While it’s very important to express that Brock Lesnar was at no point named in the lawsuit, the Wall Street Journal reported that the person being referred to as WWE Superstar was Lesnar.
This reportedly led to WWE pulling Lesnar from creative plans, including the Royal Rumble match on January 27, and WrestleMania at the start of April.

PWInsider reports that they’ve been told by sources to expect Lesnar to be “downplayed, if not outright removed” from 2K projects and possibly other licencees’ products as well.
There’s not been any word yet on whether Lesnar will be removed from the WWE 2K24 video game which releases in early March. As of now, he is still featured on the official WWE 2K website – specifically on the cover of the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition of the game.
As of this writing on Feburary 1, Lesnar is still listed as a current ‘Superstar’ on WWE.com’s official roster page – Vince McMahon’s profile on the same page was removed from public viewing on January 26.
