A potentially big update on the feud between Cody Rhodes and The Rock ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40 where Rhodes will face Roman Reigns.
Cody Rhodes has posted his schedule for the month of March and it includes three different appearances at SmackDown.
Perhaps notable, the dates March 1 in Glendale, AZ, March 8 in Dallas, TX and March 15 in Memphis, TN all also happen to coincide with an announced appearances by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Just because Rhodes will also be appearing at those shows doesn’t mean thate will for sure be on television for those editions of SmackDown.
It is not unusual for Rhodes to work double duty for WWE Raw and SmackDown but appearing only in front of the live crowd at SmackDown in an untelevised dark match.
After The Rock slapped Cody Rhodes in the face at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press event, Rhodes has since challenged him to a one-on-one match.
Fellow target of The Rock, Seth Rollins has suggested to Rhodes that there is no such thing as a ‘one-on-one’ match with a member of the Bloodline.
Offering his support, it continues to seem that a possible tag team match featuring Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes taking on The Rock and Roman Reigns could remain a possibility.
