Despite having been approached about resigning with WWE, Natalya has still reportedly not signed a new deal.
Natalya’s contract is due to expire imminently, with a report from May 15 stating that it was up “in a couple of weeks.”
On May 23, it was revealed that Natalya had been “approached by WWE regarding a possible contract extension.”
Dave Meltzer has provided further details on Natalya’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio, stating:
“She hasn’t signed a new deal. I don’t know if that’s anything to alarmed over or anything like that, but you know that’s the situation.”
Per the report of May 23, it was noted that Natalya was “keeping all of her options open” and that she has been “actively working on projects outside of WWE.”
Natalya has reflected on her recent NXT run saying that she is “not someone who can rely on opportunities” every week in WWE.
It was also recently reported that Becky Lynch, whose contract expires on June 1, will be taking an extended hiatus from WWE.
