Having made her first on-screen appearance at NXT Stand & Deliver in April, Giulia’s path to an in-ring WWE debut continues.

Giulia was in attendance over WWE WrestleMania 40 weekend, with it being reported that she had signed with the company over that weekend.
With the former Stardom wrestler continuing to work in Japan to support Rossy Ogawa’s new promotion Dream Star Marigold, Giulia picked up an injury at their May 20 debut show that would see her undergo surgery.
Giulia confirmed that she had been discharged from hospital on May 30 after the surgery, with it also being noted by Fightful that she would “begin in NXT as an attraction” and work for Marigold while also working for WWE.

With Marigold Summer Destiny taking place on July 13, 2024, a match was announced for Giulia, marking her in-ring return.
At the upcoming event, Giulia takes on Sareee in a double-main event that will also see WWE’s Iyo Sky taking on Utami Hayashishita.

Addressing Giulia’s in-ring return after recovering from surgery on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated:
“The last I heard Giulia was saying she was going to do the match, you know she did have surgery, it’s going to be a close call but right now that’s the double main event.”

Despite previous rumors, an official debut date for Giulia in WWE has not been revealed.
Following her presence during WrestleMania 40 weekend, it was reported that she had ‘impressed’ WWE officials with her conduct.
