Following the tease earlier this week, former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles has been announced for major match in Pro Wrestling NOAH.

As previously reported, Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that they and WWE had a major announcement to be made this weekend in regards to their working relationship.
This is part of WWE’s renewed interest in working with other wrestling promotions following the appearances by TNA’s Jordynne Grace on the NXT brand.

At the June 16 NOAH Grand Ship event, the company announced that top WWE star AJ Styles will face Naomichi Marufuji on July 13 at NOAH’s Destination event. The tweet reads:

July 13 is the same date that fellow WWE star IYO SKY will compete against Utami Hayashishita at Marigold Summer Destiny as well.
AJ Styles last wrestled in a loss to Cody Rhodes in an I Quit Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Clash At The Castle.
