A big update has emerged on plans for Roman Reigns’ WWE return, amid the former Undisputed WWE Champion’s in-ring absence.
Reigns hasn’t appeared for WWE since dropping his Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at the April 7 WrestleMania 40 show.
With Solo Sikoa taking over the Bloodline during Reigns’ absence, there has been a lot of speculation about Reigns’ comeback.
Per PWInsider, Roman Reigns is expected by multiple sources to be back by SummerSlam.
This year’s SummerSlam premium live event will emanate from the Cleveland Browns Stadium on August 3, meaning that Reigns is expected to return within the next three weeks.
Solo Sikoa has targeted Cody Rhodes in the lead-up to SummerSlam, with it being indicated on this week’s SmackDown episode that Sikoa vs Rhodes will take place at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
During Reigns’ absence, Sikoa has kicked Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman out of the Bloodline.
Replacing them, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu have joined the Anoa’i family stable during Reigns’ time away from the ring.
