Ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2024, Drew McIntyre has referenced AEW’s Colt Cabana in a shot at a new CM Punk t-shirt.
On the July 22 edition of WWE Raw, CM Punk announced that he had been medically cleared to compete. This led to Adam Pearce announcing that Punk will face Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.
Pearce also revealed that Seth Rollins will be the special guest referee for the bout on Saturday, August 3.
On July 23, Drew McIntyre took to social media to take a shot at the new CM Punk shirt that reads, “Clobber McIntyre Punk” on the back. Referencing Punk’s former friend Colt Cabana, he wrote:
“I ain’t ever had to put another man’s name on a shirt to sell it”
