The WWE tour of Japan is underway with its first show and Asuka has made her return following an injury suffered in June 2024.

At WWE Backlash in France on May 4, Asuka and Kairi Sane lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.
It was subsequently confirmed that Asuka had undergone knee surgery for an injury that saw her withdrawn from the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
With WWE taking a three-date tour of Japan, it had been confirmed that Asuka would be present on the shows.

Images have now emerged showing that Asuka is, indeed, at the WWE SuperShow on the first day of the tour.
The WWE Grand Slam Champion was seen in the ring and without the crutches that she has used post-surgery. She did wear her knee brace, which you can view below.
An image captured by a fan in attendance shows Asuka in the ring with a WWE microphone, as can be seen below this news story.

A second image also shows her accompanying her Damage CTRL teammate, Iyo Sky, on the entrance ramp.
As previously reported, Damage CTRL (Sky, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane) are taking on Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Meiko Satomura at the event that takes place in Osaka.
