Two new international WWE stars are set to arrive “imminently” after signing with the company in recent weeks and months.
Fans have long been anticipating the WWE debut of Giulia after she signed in April, and more recently, Stephanie Vaquer put pen to paper on a deal as well.
Vaquer already made her in-ring debut at WWE’s recent live events in Mexico, but has yet to appear on WWE TV in the US.
Giulia also hasn’t made the move to the US yet, still working in Japan for Rossy Ogawa’s Marigold promotion.
The latest update on their arrivals has emerged, and it sounds like they’ll both be on their way in pretty soon.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported:
“Giulia is on her way. The thing I was told yesterday was that – I had heard it could be as early as August 19 – I was told yesterday that Marigold thought that it would be the end of August.
“But, she’s under contract to WWE, so when WWE wants to start her, she’s going. So the announcement will be made, she’s going to say, ‘I’m leaving for WWE’ and she’s gonna have the date, and it’s coming up very, very soon, and she’ll be starting in NXT.
“Stephanie Vaquer should be starting, like, immediately. She’s free and clear. Both of them are gonna be in imminently. So Giulia’s gonna make the official announcement, it is gonna be very soon.”
Giulia is set to make an announcement soon, which is expected to be the reveal of her move to the US.
Both women have been rumored for matches against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, who defends her title tomorrow night against Thea Hail.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
