It has been revealed that a veteran WWE name signed a new contract with the company in the Spring of this year.

2024 has been a year full of contract expirations in WWE, with some star’s agreeing new terms and others exiting altogether.
Despite contract negotiations usually being widely reported online, one such instance of a top WWE name agreeing new terms has instead flown under the radar – only being revealed months later.

Ahead of SummerSlam on August 3, The Ringer published a lengthy profile piece on WWE Raw commentator Michael Cole.
In the article it was revealed that Cole has actually re-signed with WWE in the Spring, agreeing new terms that will keep him with the company for the “foreseeable future”.

No further details were given regarding how long exactly the “foreseeable future” is, but we will be sure to post further updates if more is learned regarding Cole’s new contract.
Cole has been with WWE for 27 years, signing with the company in 1997, with this new contract potentially guaranteeing that he will still be active as he approaches his 30th anniversary in the company.
