Following her first title defence, a new report has revealed a potential future challenger for Nia Jax’s WWE Women’s Championship.
On the August 30 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Nia Jax defeated Michin in a Street Fight to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
During the course of the bout, Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton interfered to help Jax before Bayley made her return for the first time since losing the title at SummerSlam to even the odds.
In a new report from ViperReports of PWN, it was revealed that former 14-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is expected to rejoin the SmackDown brand and is considered likely to challenge Nia Jax down the road.
The report notes that there are possibilities looming that Flair vs. Jax could lead to Charlotte facing Tiffany Stratton at an upcoming premium live event.
However, it appears Bayley will get her rematch against Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship first.
It remains to be seen when Nia Jax’s next title defence will take place at the time of this writing.
