Former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has called the move to Netflix is “the biggest deal of all time.”

In January, WWE announced that Monday Night Raw is moving to Netflix in January 2025. This will mark the first time the company’s flagship show will be off of linear television and exclusively on a streaming platform since the program’s inception in January 1993.
Speaking at Bloomberg’s New York Power Players event, Roman Reigns commented on the upcoming move. He said:

“I think this is the biggest deal of all time, to be honest. The thing that changes the whole landscape for us is that we’ve been on linear television for decades and we’ve been the leader of that, episodically.”
“To take our program and put it on a streaming network like Netflix, it’s unheard of.”
“To go through our history and see where we’re at now and the growth that we’ve had since 2020, when the world was upside down, is amazing.”
“It’s a big opportunity for us to not only showcase our product, but what we’ve mastered with live television,”

Elsewhere in the interview, Reigns revealed his true feeling on if he believes WWE should become “edgier” with the move to Netflix, which you can read here.
Monday Night Raw will remain on the USA Network until the end of 2024.
Reigns made his return to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania 40 at SummerSlam 2024 in August.
