A WWE star has been removed from the company’s internal active roster, instead being placed on the “misc” roster within the company.
The “misc” roster is usually occupied by talents who are out with long-term injuries or other absences, or people who make rare appearances but aren’t full-time.
As reported by PWInsider, Raw star Kiana James has been removed from the active roster to the “misc” roster.
James was drafted from NXT to Raw in May but only had two matches on Raw after that, with the last being in June, and she hasn’t wrestled or been on TV since then.
Initially, she was seemingly given the position of being something of an assistant to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, but that seemed to peter out and she’s been off TV completely.
PWInsider stated it’s currently unknown why she was moved to the “misc” roster, and James also hasn’t yet commented with an explanation for why she hasn’t been featured on television for the past couple of months.
To reiterate, despite not being on the current active roster, James is still listed on the “misc” roster, so she isn’t gone from the company or anything like that as it stands, and she can always be moved back to the active roster when she’s set to return.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates on Kiana James’ WWE status as they emerge.
