In his new Netflix docuseries, Vince McMahon has explained why he believes The Undertaker doesn’t remember his WWE WrestleMania 30 match.
At WWE WrestleMania 30, Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker to end Taker’s 21-0 WrestleMania undefeated streak.
During the course of the bout, Taker reportedly suffered a concussion, which caused him to be rushed to the hospital after collapsing when he went backstage following the match.
In the new Mr. McMahon Netflix docuseries, Vince McMahon stated he thinks The Undertaker doesn’t remember the WrestleMania 30 match because losing the streak was “so traumatic,” not because Taker suffered a concussion. He said:
“It was a last-minute decision. Mark (Undertaker) wasn’t prepared for it. Think he was in some sort of psychological shock.
“Looking back on it, I don’t see where Mark was concussed. Could have happened. But I think Mark just didn’t remember any of that because it was so traumatic for him.”
Elsewhere in the docuseries, Vince McMahon addressed the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide, which you can read at this link here.
