A WWE show has potentially been confirmed to be becoming TV-14 ahead of an upcoming change to it’s broadcasting.
A number of changes to WWE’s broadcasting are set to take place in the coming months, with WWE Raw set to move to Netflix in January 2025, as well as SmackDown recently leaving FOX to return to the USA Network.
With Raw moving to Netflix in January, fans have speculated about whether or not the show could potentially become ‘edgier’ on the streaming platform.
However, it may not only be Raw that is set to undergo a change in rating ahead of it’s change in broadcaster.
WWE NXT has officially ended it’s run on the USA Network this week, with it set to begin it’s run on the CW Network starting with next week’s October 1 episode of the show in Chicago.
In an interesting note ahead of NXT’s move to it’s new home, the CW has officially added NXT to it’s listings, where it is interestingly listed as a TV-14 show as opposed to a TV PG show it has typically been.
We will provide any updates on the change coming to NXT as they become available.
Looks like it will truly be a new era for #WWENXT on The CW. It is currently listed as TV-14 pic.twitter.com/BHfJMk8PDt
