The partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling continues and Shawn Michaels has looked towards its future and a potential ‘blow-off’.

Recently, Sol Ruca appeared on TNA Impact to team with Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, taking on Rosemary and NXT’s Wendy Choo.
It marks one of a number of crossover appearances between WWE and TNA Wrestling with World Champion Moose comparing the current deal with WWE to a former partnership with AEW.
While there are no signs of the partnership ending, Shawn Michaels was recently asked about a potential “big blow-off match” on The Ringer Wrestling Show.

With Michaels being asked about a high-stakes match, reference was also made by the hosts to a Worlds Collide crossover event, with the WWE executive saying:
“Well look, I think obviously those things are possible (big blow-off match or Worlds Collide event with TNA) but I will say, I look at this and hope that it is a long-standing relationship.
“In my personal opinion, I feel sometimes that if you go to those types of things too soon, oh, now you’ve gone through it and where do you go from there? So, right now, we’re enjoying this partnership.
“I think we’re enjoying very different matchups than we thought we’d be able to see here, in just a short amount of time. So, obviously excited about the future, excited about that relationship.
“I will say nothing’s ever off the table here in the WWE. Certainly in NXT. But I think, you know, we wanna go slower as opposed to faster.”

WWE Worlds Collide debuted in 2019 and would see stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK compete.
It would return in 2020 with the focus being on NXT and NXT UK before taking a break in 2021 for a 2022 return.
The final Worlds Collide to date was also the last PLE event for NXT UK with the major United Kingdom championships being unified with their US counterparts.
NXT UK would eventually be effective canceled with plans for the as-yet-unseen NXT Europe being revealed in its wake.
